Greetings! We hope you had a wonderful summer…now it’s time to get back to work, and focus our attention on school and music! Our new Executive Board is as follows: Co-Presidents: Diane LeViseur and Laura Rutishauser, Co-Vice Presidents: Debra Magen and Tina Edel, Treasurer: Lu Liu and Secretary: Mary Doughty.
Due to the latest weather advisory and the challenges this winter has already presented us in regards to precipitation, the Music Boosters will postpone the scheduled meeting tomorrow, February 3rd until February 10th, 2014. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
In lieu of our meeting, I am asking for volunteers to help us distribute refreshments and celebrate with our Middle School students after the Kaleidoscope concert scheduled for Tuesday, February 11th, 2014. If you are able to assist us beginning at 6pm, please send us an email to email@example.com. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Due to the inclement weather and cancellation of after school activities, the Music Boosters meeting scheduled for January 28th is postponed until the Monday, February 4th, 2013.
We have a busy quarter ahead of us and look forward to 3 performances in February including the Prizm concert at MWHS on February 7th, Kaleidoscope at MWMS on February 12th and the Faculty concert on February 23rd at MWHS. We will need volunteers to help with our Kaleidoscope post performance refreshments. If you are attending the concert and can spare 30-45 minutes after the show, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org – we look forward to seeing you!
I would like to express my thanks to our performers and their conductors, to our educators, our guests, our custodial and A/V staff and to the Booster volunteers for a truly successful concert series. It was a tremendous effort by the event coordinators and the performances on Saturday, 11/17/2012 truly represented the talented students in our Zone (9) . For those continuing to the All State Festival in Rochester on December 1st and 2nd, enjoy the show, and bring a warm jacket!

And now we look to not just holidays, but to our Concert Season. If you have time, come out and enjoy some of the school concerts over the next several weeks. All school concerts are free of charge your support keeps our programs running.
Our district is hosting the Area All State performances this year and the Music Boosters is asking for volunteers as we welcome students and parents from the surrounding districts to our High School on November 16th and 17th. Music Boosters will assist with Registrations, ticket sales, cafeteria support and concessions. Come and join us for an hour (or more) as we demonstrate how we support the Performing Arts in our community.
The following times are where we will be focusing:
Friday – Registration Table 2:00p to 4:00p
– Cafeteria support (Tickets/lines) 5:00p to 7:00p
– General concessions – 2:00 – 7:00p
Saturday – Cafeteria Support – 11:00a – 1:30p
– Ticket Sales between 3:00p- 4:15p and 5:00p – 6:15p
The full schedule for attendees is Friday from 2:00p to 9:00p and Saturday from 8:00am to 8:00pm.

The Music Boosters and Theatre Boosters would like to extend our gratitude to all those who support and have contributed to this ongoing project. Our initial response has produced 68 donor pavers in our inaugural year (2012).
We will be completing any remaining additions / substitutions and maintenance as we move from Fall to Winter.
The Music Boosters is sponsoring a concert for the benefit of our Scholarship Fund on October 13, 2012. This concert will include popular pieces from the past to the present and the second half will focus on the music of the Beatles . Performers include students, faculty members, alumni and community members. We hope you will come out and join is for an evening that highlights the talent in our schools and our community.
